ABOUT "The Inauguration Project"

Welcome to the Inauguration Project! After four years of pain, suffering, and division, we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel with President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-Elect Kamala Harris. We worked hard for them to be elected, and now we must rejoice; that is why this project is being created.

The Inauguration Project started as a casual conversation among two artist friends and grew into eight diverse music and film industry professionals. The Inauguration Project executive committee decided they wanted to share their, and many others, joy through a video rendition of ”Brand New Day” from the famed musical, ”The Wiz.”  We bring together musicians from all over the USA and many cultures to volunteer to share this joy with the world. The mission of the project is to spread love and joy, simply.
